Do you know where your belief system came? Does your belief system align with the life you desire and your life purpose?

If you take some time to think about it, there is no rhyme or reason behind our beliefs; besides, we have grown up with the belief system.

Most people grow up with a belief system that they have never called into question. There is nothing wrong with that as long as those beliefs are still serving you. If you realize that the belief system is no longer helping you, it is time for a change.

How  You Develop Your OWN Belief System?

Developing your belief system is a multi-step process that will take time. Still, the result will be a belief system that is unique to you and can help you on your journey to finding your Life Purpose.

The First Step to Develop Your Own Belief System is Evaluating Your Current Beliefs

How can people evaluate their current beliefs? To assess your ideas, you need to spend time alone. Spending time alone allows you to be free from other's beliefs and thought processes.

This step is essential because you have to determine if the thoughts and beliefs are yours and only yours.

While you are spending time with yourself, pay close attention to your thoughts and actions.

During this alone time, you should also journal. Journaling allows you to write your thoughts and the actions that have resulted because of those thoughts.

You may think what will journaling going to do. Journaling will help you to see the patterns of thoughts and actions. Journaling also helps to make the ideas and practices visible.

I'll use myself, for example. I am a person who retains information better when I write it and can go back and review it.

When you are finished journaling and can identify the thoughts and beliefs that cause specific action, you can begin changing those beliefs.

How do you begin to change your beliefs? You begin to get rid of the ideas that no longer serve you.

If you have always had thoughts that no matter what you cannot do anything right, you get rid of those thoughts. Instead of saying you cannot do things right, you take the time to see what you can do to improve your actions.

Here is an example: You have the belief everything you do turns out wrong. The idea of not doing anything well has been with you for all of your life.

Before now, you have never taken the time to think about why you feel like that. Now that you have been spending, you see that you do not do everything wrong sometimes, you are ill-prepared for the given task.

Now you know if you have taken some time to prepare better for the task, you would have been successful. Instead of thinking you cannot do anything right, you know that you need to prepare better for the given job.

Your thought process goes from being down on yourself to being able to think about what you can do now to make sure you are successful.

The Second Step to Develop Your Own Belief System is to Open Yourself Up To Possibilities

There is so much more to the world than what you experience in your bubble. To entirely change your belief system, you must be open to all that the world offers.

Yes, things will be different from what you have grown accustomed to being; that is the point. If what you had been doing was working, you would not need to change your belief system.

Everything we have always dreamed of lives right outside of our comfort zone. So, why are you waiting?

Get out and meet new people, do new things, explore new worlds. I know new things can be scary, but what do you have to lose besides all the old ways that were not doing you any good.

Having these experiences allow you to see a different point of views. Visiting these other points of view will show you a belief system besides the one you have always known.

You may have even to open yourself exploring different aspects of spirituality. The only way to know if fits the life you desire is to try it.

Opening yourself up and exploring the possibilities will show you that some things no longer have meaning for you. The new ideas may begin to hold meaning.

The Third Step to Develop Your Own Belief System is to Establish Your Belief System

Now that you have evaluated and explored what is left to do. The time has come for you to create your belief system.

Your belief system is where you will establish your core values. The values you hold deep and true to your heart.

This belief system is unique to you and only you. No one can tell you how your belief system should look. That is solely dependent on you.

I will say your belief system should be a system that will help you gain the life you so desire and help you towards finding your life purpose.

Once you have established your belief system, do not be afraid to share it with others.

Sharing your process could be the catalyst someone else needs to break free from an old belief system.

While you are sharing your belief system, remember not everyone will be accepting or agree. You are finding a belief system that is unique to you and your journey.

One of the most important things to remember is to continue to grow, learn, and explore your beliefs will continue to change. So will your belief systems.

Do not fight the change. The whole idea in life is to grow and continue learning so you can be the version of yourself.

Living with a new set of beliefs may be hard to make sure your actions align with your thoughts.

No one expects you to be perfect, but you should recognize when you are not in alignment. Do whatever it takes for you to get back into alignment.

Letting go of your old non-serving beliefs will help you along your journey to finding your life purpose and living your desired life.
