The art of alignment is that it keeps us on track holistically.
What Is Alignment ?
Alignment is the state of adjustment of parts in relation to each other or simply put alignment is the state where our intentions and actions are in agreement.
Most of us think we are always living in agreement but the truth is more often than not parts of our lives are not in agreement.
What does it mean to live in alignment?
It means you are doing things in your life that will match your purpose. If you feel your purpose is to make a difference in the lives of women by increasing their self esteem and the way you can do that is by doing hair that’s great.
You fall out of alignment when you have never taken the classes needed to be a hair stylist and you;ve never done hair before. If you had plans lined up to go to cosmetology school and you did hair in your spare time, then you would be living in alignment.
Allow Your Intuition To Guide You Towards Your Purpose
How many times have you worked a job doing something you disliked because it was considered a good job and paid the bills?
While working the job you have a nagging feeling that it's time to quit because something better is out there for you. You ignored the nagging feeling and things started to get worse every time you ignored the feeling.
Guess what you were living out of alignment and when we are out of alignment things go awry.
When you get a feeling that something is not for your greater good, then chances are it's not and you should listen to your “gut feeling.”
When you let go of the things “you should do” and begin to do the things that not only feel right but bring about changes in your life you begin to be aligned.
You may have heard people say that once they changed the way they lived or thought then things started to change in their lives. The reason is because they started to live in alignment with themselves and their purpose.
Your intuition will tell you everything you need to know as long as you are honoring it by connecting to it.

Connect With People Who Share Common Interest As You
Does everyone share the same purpose? The simple answer is no. While everyone does not have the same purpose, that does not mean that you should avoid people because they may be able to help you.
You never know how long it took someone to figure out what their purpose is and how many paths they have taken in order to find it. You can spend time with people who share the same interest or have even been down the path you’re on.
They may be able to help you see something you haven't before or even see a different perspective to a situation. These connections help to foster your growth as well as their growth.
You need to make sure these relationships are two sided. You both need to be able to give and receive so that the connection can continue to grow and you both can benefit.
Here is the best part. With the internet, you may never meet the people who are part of your soul tribe in person.
I have a young lady that I have never met in person. I met her in a Facebook group and we instantly clicked. We enjoyed the same types of things and we became support systems for each other. She encourages and pushes me and I do The same for her. That’s just one of the connections I have made with people that have helped me on my journey.
Take Time To Reset Yourself Regularly
How many times have you been going like the energizer bunny and not paying attention to how you feel and the things happening around you? Well I am advocating for you to stop and take time for yourself.
It's okay for you to take some time for yourself. It doesn't have to be something big, it can be something small but it gives you time to reflect on where you are, how you feel and the things happening in your life.
Some things you may think about doing to take time for yourself is to have a cup of tea, watch the sunrise or sunset, meditate or journal.
I try to spend some time everyday meditating because it grounds me as well as helps me focus. I also find that if I am out of alignment I pick up on it when I practice these things. Am I successful with meditating everyday no but that is why I use other options.
No matter what is happening around you, make sure you take the time to check in with yourself. It will help you get aligned, stay aligned, and know if you need to make a change.
